Weekend Adventures: Tide Pools and a Goal!

During school this week Kyla was studying O for octopus, so our goal this weekend was to spot one!  We headed to Fitzgerald Marine Reserve where the red octopus has been seen.  While we didn't sea an octopus, we saw lots of cool anemones and hermit crabs in the tide pools.  We had fun exploring the rocks and beach with the Hoffman's and then eating some yummy seafood for dinner.
This Saturday was Keanan's last soccer game of the season - and he scored a goal!!  He has had a ton of fun, and has really improved his soccer skills this year.

This weekend we also brought some supplies to help fill the container that our church is sending to Liberia to help with Ebola relief.  You can read more about it here: http://crosswalkchurch.com/Multimedia/unite4liberia/  Please consider donating to help cover the cost of the ambulance that will also be shipped in the container.
On Friday we attended our first field trip with our homeschool group to the Hiller Aviation Museum.  The kids got to learn about flight, make their own airplanes, get a special tour, and explore the museum.  It was really neat.

This coming week includes Lego club and rock climbing class!  Have a great one!
