San Francisco!

We had the opportunity to travel to San Francisco with Zac this past week while he attended a conference for work.  It was so much fun!  The kids are great travelers and love an adventure - we can do anything after taking them to Mexico!

I felt a little bit bad for Zac that he was stuck in boring meetings while we explored the city.  On Thursday the kids and I walked a mile to the BART (public transit subway/train), we then rode for about an hour into the city, then took a 20 minute cable car ride down to the bay to look at the old boats and have lunch.  Reverse all that to get back to the hotel and you have a very full day!

On Friday we stayed at the hotel (except walking down the street for meals) to swim in the pool all day!  A fun treat.

On Saturday we adventured with Zac by bus to the Golden Gate Bridge, the Palace, Fisherman's Warf, Smitten Ice Cream (best EVER - made with liquid nitrogen!), dinner, and back to the hotel.

Kyla asked Zac when we got back home if he would take her to see the world (ahhh *tear*).  Of course he said yes, as much as he could.  Very excited for more fun family adventures!
