What's on our shelves - Thanksgiving!

This week and next week we are enjoying some fun Thanksgiving activities!  We are also doing Five In a Row's Cranberry Thanksgiving, but more about that next week.

On this shelf: (starting on the top) corn paint printing, BOB books, feather painting, corn kernel pulling with tweezers (Keanan's favoroite!), pretend corn beading, cheery pie making with playdough, ABC movement cards

On this shelf: (starting at the top) letter writing in cornmeal, turkey number cards with numeral beads, roll a turkey game, Thanksgiving matching cards, build a turkey with playdough, gratitude leaves (not pictured), tracing activity

And the action shots!

Here is the result of our gratitude leaves!  They are hanging in the dinning room ready for Thursday!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

  1. Stopping by from Montessori Monday and wanted to tell you how much I like your ideas. We do trays too and my little boy loves them. We also had a clothespin turkey and he is finally starting to understand the pinching motion.

  2. Great activities and such adorable photos! I was away from the computer more than normal to spend extra time with my family last week, but I really enjoyed your post and shared it at the Living Montessori Now Facebook page last Wednesday. I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful! :)
