Kyla and I had a fun day of going to the post office and grocery shopping while Zac and Keanan went out to camp to see the horses and canoe with Uncle Casey! Tomorrow will be Kyla's fist Sunday at church. Afterwards my family is coming out for the day. Busy weekend! Off to bed!
Here is Kyla yesterday in her first non-one-piece outfit from Grandma:

I am a little bit worried that Kyla is going to be a puker. I was holding her on my shoulder this afternoon, with her face pointing at my face. All of the sudden she projectile vomited on me THREE TIMES! It was all over my face, hair, down my shirt, on my shirt, pants - the only thing safe was my socks. I just sat there laughing for a minute - what can you do! I'm glad Keanan was napping because I got her cleaned up, fed again, down for a nap and then I got in the shower for the second time today. Finally got to shave my legs, so that part was good! Hopefully she won't make this a normal occurrence.
Here are some pics of our latest goings ons:

On Thursday night Kyla slept for 2 four hour stretches! Friday night and last night she slept for 5 hours and then 4 hours! She probably would have slept longer than 5 hours, but I had to wake her up to feed her. During Keanan's nap time I have been swaddling her so she will nap too. This way mom has been getting a little nap during the day. I feel like I am caught up on my sleep!
There is currently 5 bottles of breast milk in our freezer. Better too much than not enough, I guess! I feel like things are starting to regulate a little bit. Despite being a bit uncomfortable at times, it is good to know without a shadow of a doubt that she is getting enough to eat!
Keanan is an awesome big brother! He loves to help get diapers and other things than she needs. His behavior has improved in the last couple days (he was being a little punk for a while), so I think he is adjusting well.
Two words: BELLY BANDIT!! I just put on a pair of my jeans, NOT maternity jeans!! And they fit!! It's only been a week!!!!!!!! If you are pregnant or know someone who is pregnant, get them a Belly Bandit!
Tomorrow Zac goes back to work. This means it is me and the two kids by ourselves! Please keep us in your prayers. I am excited for the next week!

- My husband! He is doing so great taking care of Keanan (who is being a little bit of a pill lately) and cleaning the kitchen (I tend to stress if the kitchen is a pit).
- Silk Nursing Pads! http://www.cottonbabies.com/product_info.php?cPath=29&products_id=2078 Soooo nice on sore nipples!
- Medela Gel nipple things from Chris! For the same reason as above.
- Belly Bandit! http://www.cottonbabies.com/product_info.php?cPath=107&products_id=1909 Totally recommend this for new moms or anyone getting ready to be a new mom! I feel like my stomach has shrunk a ton because of wearing this! It is also helping my posture during nursing so I don't hurt my back.
- Tucks Pads! Oh the relief!
- Livingston Red Rose Wine! Oh how I have missed you!
- Fig Newtons! My favorite snack at the moment.
- My kids! So weird to type that in the plural!

Kyla is doing great. She is a little pig! I'm sure she will be fitting into her cloth diapers in no time. She is sleeping pretty good too. She saw her doctor on Monday afternoon who confirmed that she is practicly perfect. She got her first bath at home this morning:
So now we plan to hang out at the house for the rest of the week. Zac and Keanan are making random trips into town and trying to bag our local bobcats, but the rest is pretty relaxed.

We arrived to the hospital at about 5pm. I was hooked up to the monitors and had to sit on the dumb bed for about 30 min. Funny thing: we were in the same exam room with Keanan! Contractions were about 5 min. apart, but I was only 2 cm. dilated. So we were told to go walk around the hospital until 8pm and then they would check again. It was annoying to stop every few minutes in the middle of the hallway to lean on Zac during a contraction. They were getting pretty intense.
8pm finally came. I layed on the exam bed for about 20 min again and thought I was going to die; not an easy place to have contractions. I was now 4 cm. dilated so they admitted us. Our birth plan stated I wanted to use the big tub so we went to room 7: the same room Keanan was born in!!
The nurse brought me a birthing ball to labor on which made things much easier! Zac was AWESOME talking me through each contraction and helping me to stay relaxed. The nurses said were were an amazing team to watch. I am soo glad we practiced stuff from the Bradley book.
The nurse put all our info into the computer and started filling up the tub. I had a horrible contraction on the toilet and then got in the water. It was so nice. The moment the second contraction hit in the tub I knew something was up. I told Zac something was wrong, I had to push!! Zac ran into the hallway shouting for the nurses. My water broke in the tub and I started pushing. Zac and the nurses helped me out of the water but I couldn't make it very far. We got to the doorway of the bathroom and I could not move anymore. I asked for the birthing stool and one of the nurses ran it in. The next thing I know, Kyla was here! My midwife didn't even make it, the nurses caught her!
Everything happened so fast! The nurses were so great about following our birthing plan and didn't try to rush cutting the cord or cleaning her up. We had some really good bonding time. I was sure that I was going to tear a lot because of how fast she came; but only a very minor tear with 2 stitches. My pubic bone was not affected at all since I was squatting on the birthing stool! I feel fantastic.
She is absolutely perfect and looks a lot like Keanan did. God is soooo good. She hardly cries and has been nursing like a little pig! We all got a good amount of rest last night. Keanan should be here anytime to meet his sister, I am very excited for that!
We are planning on going home tonight, so we are only gong to have family come to the hospital today. Visitors are welcome at home, just send us an email or voicemail so we can plan a time. Thank you all for your prayers!
Zac will post pictures after we eat.

Contractions started about 6am and have been growing all day. My mom came and got Keanan around 11. Zac and I have been walking and hanging out while I bounce on my exercise ball. I called the midwife a little bit ago to give her a heads up and she said to wait a bit longer and we would see her tonight!
Please pray that labor would be quick and relatively easy once we get to the hospital. Please also pray that my pubic bone would not split during the actual birth - I would like to be able to move and walk around afterwards this time!
We will be taking the netbook, so we will put updates on the blog when we are able.

Here are some of the lyrics:
Try those disposables; Look, Ma, no more tears.
So what if they sit in a landfill for so, so many years?
But there’s something else out there for you,
If you want to give it a try.
They can fit on your newborn, your crawler, your walker,
Or you can buy ‘em, One Size.
Try using cloth – they’re amazing.
And they come in different colors.
If you use cloth, imagine the savings.
Don’t worry if you annoy your mother.
They’re great for when I’m at home or when I go outside.
(I use cloth)
My baby’s bottom isn’t something I’m always trying to hide.
(I use cloth)
They’re great for during the day.
They’re absorbent for overnight, too.
(I use cloth)
My baby’s backside is cute even if it’s covered in poo.
